Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first 7–21 days after birth, when baby is still sleepy and curled up. I photograph all newborn sessions in my cozy Long Grove studio, where everything is prepared for you — soft, neutral setups, beautiful light, and a calm, baby-led approach.
All you have to do is show up and soak it in.

One-year milestone sessions aren’t about forcing giggles — they’re about capturing your baby exactly as they are in this sweet season.
I recently photographed a beautiful baby girl turning ONE. She was a little shy, a little observant, and took her time warming up… and you know what? We captured her personality so beautifully. The curious looks. The quiet expressions. The little glances at mama. That’s what makes these sessions so special 🤍
If you’re planning a first birthday milestone session with me, here are a few tips to help everything go smoothly:
• Schedule around naps.
The happiest babies are well-rested babies. Avoid nap time and aim for when your little one is usually fed, happy, and refreshed.
• Bring a favorite comfort item.
A small toy or lovey can help them feel secure. I also recommend bringing a favorite snack — sometimes a tiny bribe works magic 😉
• Don’t stress about outfits or styling.
I provide everything — curated outfits, headbands, props, and beautiful setups. You truly don’t need to worry about a thing. Just show up and let me take care of the rest.
•We’ll plan ahead.
Before your session, we’ll chat about the look you’re hoping to achieve — soft and neutral, floral and whimsical, simple and timeless. I want your baby’s milestone to reflect your vision while keeping my clean, classic aesthetic.
And most importantly… come with realistic expectations. Not every one-year-old smiles on command — and that’s okay. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments 🤍
