What a precious little man! Henry was 12 days new when he came to see me for this pure newborn session in Chicago, and just the sweetest thing. I’m excited to share his photos with all of you!
Mom found me when she was searching online for newborn photographers. One of the criteria she was looking for was someone who offered maternity photos as well as baby pictures, because she wanted the same photographer to capture all of those memories for her and her family.
This is such a smart idea! It makes everything easier when you’re just working with one photographer for both maternity and newborn photos (some photographers even offer a discount when you book both sessions at the same time). Your images are also much more likely to work well together (in an album, for example, or as a gallery wall) if they were taken by the same person and have a cohesive style.
And of course, it’s also easier to feel comfortable bringing your newborn to someone for a photoshoot when you’ve already had a great experience with them! I loved capturing beautiful photographs of this mom’s pregnancy, and it was like getting together as friends when she and her husband brought little Henry to see me.
