This happy 100 days milestone baby photoshoot was such a fun session! The 100 days celebration is an important tradition in many Asian cultures, celebrating baby’s health and growth, and providing an opportunity to join with friends and family.
I photographed Charlotte as a newborn (Mom found me on the web when she was searching for a newborn photographer in the northwest suburbs of Chicago near their home in the Skokie/Northbrook area.) Mom and Dad absolutely loved their newborn photography experience with me and asked if I would be up for helping them celebrate 100 days with their little one with a special photoshoot.
Of course, I was honored.
As with any other milestone, there are many ways to create a meaningful session for the 100-day celebration. It can vary by culture and also by family tradition and personal preference. I was born and raised in Poland, so I have a deep appreciation for incorporating heritage elements into my sessions and helping parents pass on their cultural legacy to their children. Mostly, Charlotte’s parents simply wanted to document their daughter’s growth and the joy she brings to their lives!
We chose a simple but beautiful studio setup using lots of flowers, and mostly focused our session around creating memories of baby girl’s blossoming personality and the beautiful little person she is.
We had so much fun together! And it won’t be long before I get to welcome Charlotte back to the studio. They have already booked her 6-month and 12-month baby milestone sessions with me and I am so excited!
