Glad to be able to share these Palatine newborn pictures with all of you! Baby Yusuf was absolutely adorable and such a sweetheart! He was eleven days old when he came to see my at my newborn photo studio in Long Grove, Illinois. Still at that perfect newborn stage when they’re extra sleepy!
It’s always fun for me to hear how people find out about my work. I have people come from all over Illinois and out of state to get Palatine newborn pictures, and I love learning more about them. In this case, Yusuf’s auntie found me on Instagram and recommended his parents to look me up. They did, and the rest is history! We had a great couple of hours capturing photos of this handsome little guy!
We discovered that baby boy’s skin tone went great with green. If you’re totally set on navy blue for your baby, that’s completely fine, but I also love it when people are up for trying something a little different. I love the earthy feel that we got with our deep greens, and contrasting with white gave it just the balance we were looking for.
Of course, if you’re going to do Palatine newborn pictures, you’ve got to include a bucket shot! Okay, okay, it’s not a requirement, but I think these are so cute. Plus, I have a wonderful collection of buckets among my newborn studio props. Antiquing is a hobby of mine, and it overlaps nicely with my career as a professional photographer when I find amazing props like these.
