Dominic was fourteen days old when he visited me in my Long Grove, Illinois photography studio. He was right at the tail end of the time I usually recommend for baby pictures. Those first two weeks provide the best window for getting adorable images–while baby is still very sleepy and flexible.
Sports Themed Baby Photos!
I’m always up for customizing my clients’ newborn photography sessions. In this case, Dad was a huge fan of both the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Bulls. So we decided to do sports themed baby boy newborn photos for Dominic. We used mostly dark colors (with lots of black and navy blue as another nod to Dad’s favorite sports teams), along with basketball and football props.
We even had a tiny sweatband that was just the right size for the newest member of the family team! We had a great session together and I loved the chance to help these parents welcome their little man with sports themed baby boy newborn photos designed just for them!
