Take a look at this little cutie! If you search “newborn photography near me” for the Chicago area, you’re likely to come up with a lot of hits, but this little guy’s moms also came across my work on Instagram. So they already knew they loved my style! While a basic internet search is a great place to start, there’s a lot more to choosing a newborn photographer than location. The most important thing is that you love the images your photographer creates, and you feel comfortable trusting them with your brand new bundle.
These moms brought baby Jack to my Long Grove, Illinois newborn photography studio for his baby pictures when he was 13 days old. Just barely squeaked in under that two-week mark! (Not that we can’t get amazing photos with older babies too!)
We chose earth tones and darker colors for Jack’s newborn photography session, and also went with a bit of a teddy bear theme. This baby boy was totally irresistible in a soft teddy bear outfit with a little friend to match. Too cute!
One of the advantages of doing a little research beyond newborn photography near me is that you can get a real feel for a photographer’s style–and even discover specific images they can recreate for you and your little one. One of the shots I do that is really popular with parents is of one or both parents holding baby’s hands as your newborn reaches up.
