Lake County photographer

Recently, this 7 day new baby boy came to my Chicago area studio for a newborn session. Now, I am a Lake County newborn photographer, but get clients from the city, including this guy.

To begin, we used a lot of adorable props at his session. Here, we started with the mini bed set up.
Next ,we moved to the bean bag for some tummy time posing. Here, we were able to get the froggy pose, since he was so sleepy.
Then, we moved back to the wood backdrop for a comfy, green outfit. Also, all the outfits, props, hats, headbands, wraps are all available at your studio newborn session. Fortunately, I have several options for baby boy and baby girl.
Now, as a Lake County newborn photographer, I love all my props, and introduce new ones all the time. And, this little bucket was new, and he fit in just perfect!

Here, sleepy boy was perfect to cuddle up in an egg wrap pose on this green that looks just great with his skin and hair tones!
Here, I am obsessed with this little outfit on him! Now, I have several different color schemes with outfits, wraps, blankets and hats for you to choose from. Beforehand, I will send a questionnaire for you to fill out, to learn what colors you like and don’t like.
And, this bed set up, with his squishy cheeks on that pillow is just too much!

As many of you already know, I’m scaling back on outdoor family sessions this year 🤍

I opened a very limited number of dates for late summer through October—and most have already been claimed.

At this point, I have just 5 spots remaining.

All sessions are scheduled at sunset for the most beautiful, soft light you see in my work

If you’ve been thinking about working together this year, this is truly your moment. Once these final dates are gone, they’re gone.

If you’re not sure of your schedule yet, that’s okay. A retainer will hold your spot, and we’ll choose your date once you have a better idea of your availability.

These last few spots always go quickly, and I would love to capture your family before they’re gone

Motherhood Sessions are now open 🤍

This is your moment to be in the frame.

Motherhood is made up of the quiet, fleeting moments—the way your little ones reach for you, the softness, the connection… and it all deserves to be remembered.

I’ve created something truly special to capture just that.

Session Dates:
Saturday, April 25
Sunday, April 26

Held in my Long Grove studio with a soft, timeless, and neutral aesthetic designed to keep the focus on you and your babies.

These sessions are perfect for:
• Moms with their children
• Expecting mamas
• Grandmothers + generational portraits

A curated collection of beautiful, neutral dresses will be available for moms, and I’ll guide you through the entire process so it feels effortless and natural.

I’m currently finishing the setup — it will be simple, soft, and angelic with creams and dreamy neutrals. I’ll be sharing a preview next week 🤍

My goal is to have your images ready in time for Mother’s Day — something meaningful you can cherish forever.
