During this time, I have taken a step back and realized how much I truly love what I do. I started finding sessions that I took last year, that I never had the time to blog. With this virus, I think we have all come to a bit of a realization that we need to slow down. We need to take a minute, and enjoy our lives. I have done that. And, I am also ready for more of my old life back, too! As a Chicago area newborn photographer, I miss my newborns. I miss those squishy faces. And, I miss my passion! Coming across Emir’s adorable newborn session brightened my day and my mood, and I hope it brightens yours, too! I featured Emir’s parents maternity session on my blog, so here is his newborn session!

First, we started off with baby Emir, sound asleep, with some brown tones. Mom asked for brown tones, to match her decor at home. With Emir’s coloring, it was a perfect color choice.
Now, as a Chicago area newborn photographer, we tend to see a lot of the same poses. I don’t do this pose often, but I am not sure why! Here, Emir looks so peaceful, and so tiny. Maybe I need to use this pose more often!
Perfection in a newborn session is when Baby smiles! It doesn’t happen at every shoot. But, when it does, we all smile!
Here, Emir fit perfectly in the heart shaped bowl!I love the details of his tiny fingers. And, his puckered little lips! We are all in love!
Sweet, sleeping, smiling baby, happy in a bucket pose! All these combinations don’t always happen. Bucket pose is one of the harder poses to do with a newborn. Babies like to be wrapped up. In the bucket pose, they are in a diaper only. And, they aren’t laying in a natural pose. Sometimes, this is the hardest pose to work with. Emir makes it look fun!
Here, Emir’s gorgeous mom is so happy to be holding her beautiful boy. They are gorgeous together!
Truthfully, I have no words. Absolutely beautiful, mother and child.
