This baby girl was just the sweetest! I’m so glad I was able to fit her into my schedule as a last minute booking. July was a big month for babies at the studio (possibly my busiest yet in terms of the number of newborns who came through my door) but we were lucky enough to find a date that worked for Myra’s parents and worked for me.
It helped that they live in Chicago so they were already fairly close to my studio. It’s not uncommon for me to have families who drive an hour or more to get to their session. I always feel honored by that and so happy that they love my style that much!
Lifestyle Newborn Session
Myra was 10 days new when she and her parents came to see me—and absolutely adorable! Her mom and dad chose to do a lifestyle session, so I set up my studio accordingly before they arrived. Lifestyle sessions are similar to my Pure Newborn sessions in that they usually use a neutral color scheme, but my lifestyle sessions use warmer colors and generally incorporate some plants and greenery, as well as furniture and props that make the space feel more like a cozy home setting. Both styles are beautiful and it just depends what you love most!
In addition to the beautifully decorated space, I also provide a client closet with outfits and headbands for baby and lovely dresses for mom. Myra looked so sweet in the headbands and flower crowns we picked out for her!
