There’s something so adorable about pets and babies! (I’m not the only one who’s seen viral videos of protective dogs and curious cats watching over “their” baby or toddler, right?) Most of my newborn photoshoots involve humans only, so it was fun and different to shoot this pet friendly newborn session with adorable 2-week-old Tesa and her very best friend—a sweet and gentle Pomeranian.
Babies and Fur Babies!
Tesa’s mom was referred to me by a friend who had come to me for newborn photos. She loved the look of my images, and based on her friend’s great experience she knew that she wanted me to do her daughter’s newborn pictures. There was just one question: could I also accommodate their fur-baby?
While I don’t necessarily advertise as a pet friendly newborn photo studio, I know that every member of the family is important! If you would like your well-behaved pet to be included in your pictures, we can absolutely do that! Tesa’s fluffy Pomeranian pal was so cute and did such a great job posing with the new baby. It’s clear that these two are going to be best friends as Tesa grows up.
