Is there anything better than a newborn baby? I would say no…the only thing that makes it even better is when there are two of them! These sweet newborn twin girls were absolutely adorable.
Mom brought Isla and Keira (10 days new) to my Long Grove portrait photography studio after searching Google for a twin newborn photographer in the Chicago area. Finding the right photographer to capture your baby pictures is always important, but it can become even more complicated when you have two little ones. Not all photographers have experience with twins. And while working with two babies is a lot of fun, it also adds an extra layer of complexity.
Chicago Area Twins/Triplets Photographer
If you are welcoming twins or triplets, I recommend finding a photographer who has already done these types of newborn sessions.
In the first place, you want to make sure they are experienced, so that you can be sure your babies are in safe hands. Posing newborns is something that requires special training, and posing twins is even trickier!
In the second place, you want to make sure that you like the style of the baby pictures. Some twin photographers will use several of the same poses they would use with a single newborn, just adjusted for two. Others might use different setups or poses when working with twins. You just want to be sure you have an idea of what your finished baby photos will look like, so you can feel confident that you will be happy with them.
The session with these newborn twin girls was extra fun because we had big sister there as well as mom and dad. We created a lovely variety of photos that included each member of their growing family.
