Another adorable newborn session! As a Chicago newborn photographer I’ve noticed that my session types often go in waves. I’ll have lots of boys, then lots of girls, then maybe lots of maternity shoots. It just depends on the week! I feel like this has been a year of boys for me—which I’m loving—but I’m also excited to share some baby girl pics of Miss Beaux.
Her mom found me on Instagram and decided that my Classic or Deluxe newborn session was exactly what she had been looking for. This type of session is perfect for parents who have a particular vision in mind, like to incorporate colors, or want something unique and different, as it’s very customizable.
Speaking of customizable, I know that photos are all about memories and freezing a moment in time, which is why I love to incorporate special items from home or objects that evoke a particular memory for families. In this case, when I found that Beaux’s daddy is an NFL player who plays for the Chicago Bears, I knew that a pose with a football was a must! I experimented with a larger one as well as a tiny football that was just the right size for her to hold. Couldn’t decide which one I loved more! Anyone else have a feeling she’s going to be a daddy’s girl?
