Recently, I photographed this 13 days new baby! Fortunately, I was referred by another client for this lovely family. And, they traveled from the River North neighborhood of Chicago to the suburbs to see me. Now, as a newborn photographer near Chicago, I can say my clients come from all over, even a few hours away!
To begin, for this adorable newborn session, we started with the new little hammock baby bed. Then, we moved to the wooden bowl for a cute little outfit pose, with a tiny stuffed animal. Here, we stayed with neutral, calm colors for some tummy time, with a sleepy guy.Of course, we had to get a bucket pose! Here, this is one of the most requested poses at the newborn studio. Now, as a newborn photographer near Chicago, we will send a questionnaire before your session. This way, we are getting the poses and colors you want at your newborn session. Then, we went with some blue tones in the moon bucket, as Mom and Dad liked blue. And, I had to add in this adorable hat. Now, all the hats, props, headbands, baby outfits, wraps, and stuffed animals that you may see on the blog are all in studio, ready for you to use.To finish, we captured some moments with mom, dad and little baby boy. Now, be sure to check out my Facebook page here and Instagram here .

I can’t wait to create something beautiful for you 🤍
This sweet family found me through friends who had just done their newborn session with me, and after seeing their images, they fell in love with my work. They were really hoping to get on my schedule, but had one big concern… their baby was already a little older than the typical “newborn window,” and they weren’t sure if we’d still be able to achieve those soft, classic newborn poses.
I reassured them—and their little one proved us all right 💛 He was absolutely perfect… so calm, so cozy, and slept beautifully throughout the session. We were able to capture all those timeless, gently posed images they were dreaming of.
They chose my Classic Collection with pops of beautiful color, and I just loved every bit of it. This style is very reminiscent of traditional newborn photography—soft, intentional posing paired with delicate, rich tones that truly highlight baby in the most timeless way. It’s always such a joy when families choose this look.
Every session with me is fully styled and customized. I provide everything for baby, and guide you every step of the way so your experience feels effortless from start to finish.
If you’ve been thinking about newborn photos—even if your baby is a little older—please don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s almost always possible, and these early days are so worth capturing 🤍
