I know everyone is busy, but let’s take a moment to enjoy some adorable Chicago new baby photos. Baby Waylon was eleven days old when I welcomed him to my Long Grove, Illinois photo studio–and what a cutie!
This was actually a last-minute booking, so I’m really glad I had an opening in my schedule. And that we were able to get Waylon in during that first couple weeks of life. Mom reached out last-minute and I happened to have one spot available so she grabbed it right away. As a Chicago newborn photographer my schedule fills up fast and calling after baby’s arrival doesn’t always work out. But if booking Chicago new baby photos wasn’t something you got around to early on, it never hurts to check!
Waylon was amazing! He slept perfectly and was just great for me. I wish all my babies were this easy! Don’t worry if your little one is a bit fussy though. I’ve had plenty of those too, and I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve for soothing little ones and sneaking in great pictures! No need to pull out the bag of tricks for this little man though–he was a total natural in front of the camera.
We had some fun with props while we captured these Chicago new baby photos. Bucket shots are always popular, and this wooden moon bowl is one of my favorites. Seriously–it goes with everything, no matter what style you’re going for! And, in my humble opinion, the same goes for a teddy bear cap.
So glad it worked out for me to photograph this adorable little one! He was so good and I love our Chicago new baby photos!
