I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! December is always so busy for me, both with holidays and capturing winter milestones for families. I hope you’ve had some time at the beginning of this year to rest and recover. For me, this month has been every bit as busy as the holidays, because the January newborn baby boom is here. So many babies! As a Chicago baby photographer I am loving every second of it and wouldn’t have it any other way.
So let’s start the new year off right with some photos from sweet Julian’s pure newborn family collection earlier this month.
Finding the Perfect Chicago Baby Photographer
Julian’s family lives right here in Chicago, so they were nice and close to my studio in Long Grove, Illinois. But there are so many Chicago baby photographers—how to choose the perfect one? Julian’s mom found me on Instagram and was instantly drawn to my style, so she decided to visit my website and explore a bit more. I was so happy when she reached out and asked me to capture these memories of baby Julian.
This is a great way to find a newborn photographer! Instagram is very visual, so you can instantly get a feel for a photographer’s style and make sure that they have a style that is consistent across all of their images. That way you know what you can expect from your own photos. It’s the perfect place to start your search, and from there you can narrow down as you explore potential photographer’s websites.
Pure Newborn Family Collection
I offer several different styles of newborn portraits to suit different needs. One of my most popular—and the one that Julian’s family chose—is the pure newborn family collection. This style uses very soft neutral colors to keep the focus on baby. And of course, it also includes family photos of you and your sweet little one.
I’m so glad that Julian’s family found me and that we were able to record these first precious days for Julian and his parents to treasure as he grows.
