Recently, little Lucas came to the studio at 12 days new! Fortunately, I also photographed his big sister at her newborn photo shoot. Now, as an Arlington Heights newborn photographer, the greatest compliment I can get is repeat clients!
To begin, we started with the bucket set up. Now, all the props, headbands, hats, wraps, foliage, stuffed animals are all mine, available to use at your session. Truly, I pride myself on having a very large selection of props and colors to choose from. Here, not only is this set up adorable, but the little smile I captured just melts my heart! Next, we went with a little stuffed animal in a basket pose. Also, this comfy and soft newborn outfit is also available for newborn sessions with me. And, I have different colors. Now, as an Arlington Heights newborn photographer, I will send you a questionnaire before your session. This way, I know what colors you love ,and what colors to avoid for your newborn session. Then, we moved to the bean bag for some sleepy poses. Now, doesn’t he just look so peaceful! As you can see, I love neutral tones, and using neutral tones in my photography. To finish, we swaddled little boy up, and got a cozy warm hat on, for some neutral toned photos! Again, I love neutral tones, and using neutral tones in my poses. Also, some people like bold colors, but bold colors are not available with my newborn sessions. I hope all you amazing mamas had the sweetest Mother’s Day!
To continue celebrating motherhood, I’m extending my Mini Motherhood Sessions at a special price through the end of May.
You just need to reserve (pay) by May 31, and your session can take place in June or July (selected dates scheduled Monday–Thursday between 9 AM and 12 PM)
These short & sweet sessions are perfect for capturing the love between you and your little ones — just as you are right now.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas I’ve had the honor of photographing this year — especially those celebrating their very first Mother’s Day!
Capturing those early moments with your sweet newborns has been such a privilege. The love, tenderness, and awe you’ve shown as you step into motherhood is something truly beautiful to witness.
Your strength, warmth, and love inspire me every single day. Today, we celebrate you.
Thank you for trusting me to preserve these fleeting, precious days. Wishing you all a day filled with snuggles, love, and quiet moments to soak it all in.
We’re officially counting down the days until my daughter Emma heads to the University of Alabama this fall! She’ll be starting this exciting new chapter and will also be going through sorority recruitment this summer.
If you are (or know!) a sorority alum who would be willing to write a letter of recommendation for her, we’d be so incredibly thankful. Emma is bright, thoughtful, compassionate, and ready to dive into college life with an open heart.
She’s worked so hard to get here, and I know she’ll thrive with the support of a sisterhood.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help—feel free to message me if you have any questions or are open to writing a rec.
