Recently, I photographed this 12 day new baby boy! Fortunately, I had met his lovely family two years ago, at his big sister’s newborn photo shoot. Now, as a Mundelein newborn photographer, I love seeing repeat clients!
To begin, we stuck with neutral whites and creams for this session. Here, we featured a soft outfit and stuffed animal. Next, for a little tummy time, we went with a cute hate and pillow combination. Then, we moved to the wood bed and a swaddle look. Now, all the props, blankets, wraps, swaddles, hats, stuffed animals that you see featured on my blog are available at your newborn photo shoot. Here, we were able to capture the swing pose. Of course, I am obsessed with this pose, as are the parents when they see their babies in this pose!To finish, we added a bit of color in the navy blue bucket. Now, as a Mundelein newborn photographer, I will find out before your session which colors you like, and what colors to avoid. Fall is always my busiest season, and this year has been no exception! Between newborn snuggles, milestone celebrations, and family sessions, I’ve had so many beautiful families and moments in front of my camera. I know I’ve been behind on sharing sneak peeks (there just aren’t enough hours in the day!), but I couldn’t resist putting together this quick reel from some of my September sessions.
Every story I capture reminds me why I love what I do , freezing these fleeting moments before they become memories. 💛
If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I’m already starting to fill my calendar for early 2026
Sweet baby Ishani was 14 days new during her session and she could not have been more beautiful. She was an absolute dream to photograph and made my job so easy with her sleepy snuggles and perfect features.
Her parents were referred to me by their friends, which means the world. When a family shares their experience and sends more families my way, I never take that trust for granted.
I am so excited that I get to watch Ishani grow this year. Her parents booked my One Year of Memories collection, so I will see her for all the sweet milestones ahead. These first twelve months always go by so quickly and I love getting to freeze each stage for families to keep forever.
