I love baby-only photos, and I make sure to capture some of those sweet images in all of my newborn sessions. But I also love including every member of the family if that is part of mom and dad’s vision! So when these parents asked about bringing their cute dog to my studio near northwest Chicago, I was delighted to tell them that, yes, well-mannered fur-babies are always welcome!

It’s always fun when older siblings or pets are involved in a newborn photoshoot. One of my favorite things is to capture sweet interactions, so when big sister kissed her new little sibling or their dog sat protectively next to the two of them my heart just melted!
