Sweet baby George was just 10 days new when he came to the studio for his Vernon Hills newborn session, and oh my heart… he is absolutely perfect. It was a special joy to photograph him because I already knew the family, having been the newborn photographer for their daughter just a couple of years ago. When mom reached out to me again she told me they had loved the photos from their daughter Reagan’s newborn phase so much they couldn’t wait to rebook! What a huge compliment.
It was so fun to see Reagan again! She was not quite two years old at the time of our session and already so in love with her baby brother. Even though she’s still just a baby herself, she posed beautifully for me and was so incredibly proud of little George. She couldn’t stop showering him with love! It was precious and I just know these two are going to have the sweetest bond. Sibling photos are some of my favorites!
Mom decided on a Classic look for George’s baby pictures, with a Pure Newborn collection for the sibling and family photos. The Classic setup often features dark, rich colors with a warm and cozy feel, while the pure newborn is more light, bright, and airy. Both are beautiful, and putting them together like this gave us a collection of newborn images with such gorgeous contrasting shades—I love it!
