As a Schaumburg newborn photographer, I am happy to report that the baby boom of 2020 has begun! With all the uncertainty right now, one thing I know is being back to photographing babies makes me so happy! This month, I have already seen 11 newborns, which is awesome for me and my photography business! Here, meet sweet baby Haley! She came all the way from Indiana with her big sister whom I also photographed as a newborn (all of 2 years old), and they were both truly amazing at this photo session!
Please enjoy this newborn photo session!
I would imagine that Mom and Dad will be framing this image right here! Like I mentioned, Haley brought her 2 year old sister with her to the newborn photo shoot. Her sister was SO good, and just as awesome as Baby Haley!
As a Schaumburg newborn photographer, I get the pleasure of seeing these beautiful newborn babies, and customizing their newborn sessions to what the parents like. As you will see, Mom and Dad like the soft grays and pink tones, which was fine with me! I like those tones, as well! I love this gray wrap, with the matching gray head band, and a touch of pink with the flowers! All while Haley is sound asleep!
And, since sweet baby girl was sound asleep, we went ahead with one of the harder newborn poses. Of course, she did great! I love her tiny hands, placed so gently under her chin, on the cozy, hand stitched blanket!
Here, we went with all pinks, and lots of textures. She looks so peaceful, and comfy in all these pink soft blankets and hats to keep her happy!
Oh, the squishy cheeks, with the tiny toes sticking out, gives me all the happy vibes in this photo! I love how soft and squishy Haley looks in this pose!
Here, we went with all gray colors for this pose, including the adorable headband! All headbands, wraps, and props that I feature on my blogs are available for use at my newborn studio!
And, we added back in some pink tones, on the gray bean bag pose. Here, I love this blanket and headband combination!

Simple, classic, and bright + airy — just the way I love creating these first birthday sessions. Timeless details, soft light, and joyful little moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Cake smash sessions are all about celebrating this beautiful milestone while keeping the focus on your baby and the memories that matter most.
Sweet baby Sophia 🤍 Just 8 days new at the time of her session and already so incredibly loved
This session was extra special for me, getting to photograph this family again after capturing big sister when she was a newborn made my heart so full. Watching her step into her new role and love on her baby sister so tenderly was truly the sweetest thing.
These are the moments that mean the most to me, watching families grow and being invited back to document each new chapter. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, again and again 🫶
It’s been a little quiet on here, but I promise I’m still very much here. working behind the scenes around the clock. This season turned out to be busier than I could have imagined, and it put me behind in a way I’ve never experienced before. Because of that, I wasn’t able to share sneak peeks and previews like I normally do, but please know I’ve been working nonstop to get everyone’s galleries finished.
All holiday sessions should be delivered by this weekend. If you haven’t received yours yet, please reach out and I’ll make sure your link is forwarded right away.
I also wanted to share a little update for next year: I am very much gearing up to focus primarily on studio sessions, and will be extremely limiting my outdoor availability. If you know you’d like to work with me outdoors, please make sure to reach out and grab a spot early. I know I’ve mentioned this shift over the past few years, but this coming year I am truly serious about stepping away from outdoor work and only taking on a very small number of those sessions.
I will have a New Year’s Sale specifically for outdoor sessions, but those spots will be extremely limited. If you want one, keep an eye out because they’ll go fast.
I may also consider bringing on an associate photographer to handle some outdoor sessions for me, but that’s still something I’m deciding on.
I still have lots of newborn, studio maternity and milestone sessions I’m editing from the past couple of weeks, and I hope to share sneak peeks of those very soon.
And if you’ve emailed me and haven’t heard back yet, I sincerely apologize. My inbox has been overflowing, and I’m doing my very best to reply to everyone. You’re always welcome to follow up, your message truly matters to me, and I’ll make sure to get back to you.
Thank you, truly, for all your support. It means the world to me 🫶
