Seven days new and absolutely perfect! I had the honor of photographing sweet baby Mailani during her newborn session a few months ago, and it was such a joy to capture these precious early moments for her family.
I first met this baby girl’s amazing parents during their maternity session in the fall of last year, and it was truly one of the most beautiful experiences. They are some of the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever worked with, and it was clear from the start how much love and excitement they had for their baby girl. I couldn’t wait to meet her!

What made this session even more special was knowing that Mailani’s dad arranged the photoshoot after being referred to me by another wonderful client (turns out they are cousins!) whose maternity and newborn sessions I had the pleasure of photographing. I’m always so grateful for these connections and for the trust my clients place in me to capture these unforgettable milestones.
For Mailani’s newborn photos mom and dad decided that my pure newborn collection, which uses a light, airy style and lots of whites and neutral colors, was the perfect choice. I have to agree! Baby girl was so beautiful and with these backdrops she really did look like the sweetest little angel.
