Palatine Newborn Photographer. I’m very excited to offer Fresh 48 Hospital Sessions this year! What is a Fresh 48 Hospital Session you ask? Well, that was me not long ago asking the same question. When I first heard of a Fresh 48 Hospital Session, I had no idea what it was. I had to Google it. Little did I know, I’ve already photographed a Fresh 48 Hospital Session at the beginning of my photography journey.

What is Fresh 48 Hospital Session?

A Fresh 48 Hospital Session is a lifestyle session that takes place at the hospital in the first 24-48 hours of birth. It’s a great way to capture the early hours of you meeting your precious baby. This lifestyle session is perfect for remembering that First day forever. It’s about capturing that new bond and love of parents with their new baby. It’s about siblings meeting their brother or sister for the first time. It’s about capturing your baby at that brand new stage.

Sessions take approximately 30-60 minutes and are not meant to take place of a newborn sessions.

Held in my Long Grove studio with a soft, timeless, and neutral aesthetic designed to keep the focus on you and your babies.

These sessions are perfect for:
• Moms with their children
• Expecting mamas
• Grandmothers + generational portraits

A curated collection of beautiful, neutral dresses will be available for moms, and I’ll guide you through the entire process so it feels effortless and natural.

I’m currently finishing the setup — it will be simple, soft, and angelic with creams and dreamy neutrals. I’ll be sharing a preview next week 🤍

This sweet family found me through friends who had just done their newborn session with me, and after seeing their images, they fell in love with my work. They were really hoping to get on my schedule, but had one big concern… their baby was already a little older than the typical “newborn window,” and they weren’t sure if we’d still be able to achieve those soft, classic newborn poses.

I reassured them—and their little one proved us all right 💛
He was absolutely perfect… so calm, so cozy, and slept beautifully throughout the session. We were able to capture all those timeless, gently posed images they were dreaming of.

They chose my Classic Collection with pops of beautiful color, and I just loved every bit of it. This style is very reminiscent of traditional newborn photography—soft, intentional posing paired with delicate, rich tones that truly highlight baby in the most timeless way. It’s always such a joy when families choose this look.
