Hi everyone!!! It’s official, Fresh 48 Sessions are definitely one of my favorite type of sessions. I’ve captured so many over the past few months and I’m just in love with every single one. I just love meeting new babies <3

Today, I’m very excited to share some images from a recent Fresh 48 session. I met this perfect and beautiful baby girl when she was only 1 day old. And my goodness is she a happy little lady 🙂 I was so honored to capture these first special moments for this wonderful family <3

As most of you know, my daughter has committed to The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), and this August, she’ll be heading off to start this exciting new chapter. With college move-in and a few trips to Alabama planned, my summer schedule will be extremely limited as we make the most of these last few months before she spreads her wings.

If you’re thinking about booking a newborn, milestone, maternity, or family session between June and August, please reach out soon! Both my studio and outdoor availability will be very limited, and once spots are gone, they’re gone.

I know it’s only March, but fall is already almost fully booked! My calendar opened in early January, and almost all the spots have sold out. A huge thank you to all my returning clients and the few new ones who grabbed a spot—I can’t wait to capture your beautiful memories!

~ Meet Baby James ~

At 34 days old, sweet baby James proved that even older newborns can be amazing sleepers! He snoozed right through his session and let me pose him so beautifully. His mom reached out last minute after being recommended by some of my wonderful past clients in a local Facebook group (thank you so much for the referrals!).

Before each session, I send parents detailed instructions on how to prep both themselves and their baby to ensure a smooth experience. James’ parents followed all my tips, and even though he was a bit older than the newborns I typically photograph, he slept like a dream!

While I can’t always guarantee last-minute newborn bookings, I always do my best to make it work—I truly hate turning newborns away! So if you just had your baby and are hoping for a session, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll do everything I can to fit you in!
