Here, you get to meet gorgeous newborn baby Saylor! Fortunately, Saylor came to see me this winter, before things went quiet for a while at my newborn photographer, Palatine studio. Moreover, Saylor was a perfect little girl at her professional newborn session.
Now, please enjoy some of my favorite images from this precious newborn girl’s session.
Right from the beginning, Saylor was a dream! As a rule, I love texture, and use different textures in all of my newborn sessions. Here, we had Saylor in a comfy, fuzzy bear hat. And, in a wood basket, with some wood beads, and underneath, some burlap. I love all the textures in this pose.
Bucket Pose
As well, sweet Saylor is comfy, cozy in this green bucket. And, I added a little touch of flowers, as we were all hopeful for the spring during this session. Plus, all the headbands featured on my blog and social media posts are mine, and for all my clients to use at their photo shoots.
Honestly, I loved this fuzzy bear hat on Saylor, so I used it again in the green bucket! And, again with the textures, as this sweet newborn girl was laying on a soft, hand knitted blanket.
Moon basket
Truthfully, this is my favorite photo from this photo session. Fortunately, Saylor was so sleeping at her session and looking so comfortable in my moon basket prop. Plus, the headband, the wrap, and all the textures make me have all the feels in this photo!
Newborn Photographer Palatine
Now, as most of you have seen in my blog, I love baby feet! As a newborn photographer, this is something I offer to my clients. Also, at all my sessions, I like to take close up photos of the baby parts, like sweet Saylor’s feet, since they grow so fast.
At each newborn session, I typically start with props, and then move to images with just the baby. For your information, here are the baby only poses.
Here, you see the gorgeous, sound asleep baby girl! Truthfully, I love her little toes peeking out, and this headband in soft green like the wrap that is draping over Saylor.
Here, I used lots of greens, which looked great with Saylor’s skin tone, to add some color to her session. And again, all the headbands, and crowns, like the one here, are used at my newborn sessions.
Obviously, I love a smiling newborn photo!! Here, I captured Saylor in a smile, which will melt any heart!

Here, Saylor’s parents are just so in love with their gorgeous newborn baby girl! Currently, when I give parents information before they come to my studio, I let them know suggestions on what they should wear. Luckily, they hit it out of the ballpark with the color choices! Plus, my backdrop just worked perfect!
Fortunately, Saylor was just as gorgeous as her beautiful Mama! Truthfully I absolutely love this pose!
