We finally had a little baby boy in the studio recently. Lately, we have had a baby boom of girls. Today, we met sweet Kaveer for a precious baby boy newborn photo shoot. Luckily, Kaveer was a sleepy baby boy, and did great for his newborn photo session. As a newborn photographer in Lake County, IL, I love seeing these adorable babies, and the joy their families bring for a newborn photo shoot!
In love with this little pumpkin hat, perfect for a fall baby!
Here, we featured the moon bucket, with some yellows to go along with the yellow stars. I love how this turned out!
And, we moved on to the heart shaped bowl, with the green tones. Plus, we added another touch of yellow with the heart stuffy.
Newborn Photographer Lake County IL Now, sleepy Kaveer was so comfortable and sound asleep, we were able to get this super relaxed pose. Mom and Dad liked the green and yellow tones, and I really am happy with how well these colors went along with this session.
To finish, we had to include a black and white image. As always, the images from Kaveer’s session will be given to his parents in color, as well as black and white. This way, it’s each family’s decision how they want to present their photos from their session.

Sweet baby George was just 10 days new when he came to the studio, and oh my heart… he is absolutely perfect. I had the joy of not only photographing him, but also his proud big sister—just 22 months old and already so in love with her baby brother.
She posed so beautifully (still a baby herself!) and couldn’t stop showering him with love. These two are going to have the sweetest bond, I just know it.
It was such a gift to have this wonderful family back in the studio, capturing these tender, intimate first moments as they settle into life as a family of four.
Welcome to the world, baby George—you are so very loved.
The tiny toes, the soft curl of a finger, the delicate curve of an ear, the sweet profile—these are the details that change so quickly, yet mean so much.
Capturing the quiet beauty of these fleeting newborn moments is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Because someday, these little things will be the big things you’ll want to remember most.
