Recently, this eleven day old beauty came to the studio for a newborn session. Fortunately, as a Mundelein newborn photographer, she was just so easy and perfect to photograph!
To begin, we started with a simple, neutral, wood box set up. Here, I just love the look of the blankets under those tiny hands. And, the perfect little head tilt with a cute headband! Then, we moved to the bean bag, for some tummy time and a little peachy color.

Now, I have almost everything you need for your session at the studio. Also, don’t worry about a smooth session, because I will send you a prep guide to help make sure it goes smoothly.
Here, this little one fit perfect in this tiny basket. Now, all the props, headbands, wraps, hats, blankets that you see featured on the blog are available at your newborn session. And, all my Mundelein newborn photographer sessions take place in my studio.Now, I am always adding new props, clothes, hats, wraps and headbands to my vast newborn photography prop collection. Here, this newborn swing is one of my new favorites!Now, before the session, I sent a questionnaire to newborn baby girl’s parents. This way, I know what colors to use, and what colors to avoid.As you can see, I prefer simple, neutral color tones and set ups. Now, this beautiful, neutral set up is just so timeless! To finish, this little doll baby was just perfect at her newborn photo shoot. Here, she looks like a little porcelain doll! A sweet, simple cake smash to celebrate this beautiful first birthday milestone
My cake smash sessions always include one simple setup and one outfit. Mom wanted something soft and dreamy for Sena, so we kept it classic with white curtains and balloons.
Before we bring out the cake, I always like to take a few simple portraits to capture your little one just as they are at this special milestone. Then comes the fun part—the cake! Some babies dive right in, some prefer to play with it, and some aren’t quite sure what to think. And honestly, it’s all part of the fun.
A bubble bath can also be added for an additional fee, and it’s such a fun way to finish the session!
