Yes, another set of twins! Now, typically I see one set of twins a year. Recently, there has been a twin baby boom! And, I am so honored and pleased to present these beautiful newborn twin babies! As a Long Grove twin newborn photographer, I am just loving the options with two babies, and loving all the baby snuggles!
Oh, be still, my heart! Yes, these two lovelies were so comfy and snuggled together on this little bed at their twin newborn session!Next, we brought in some greenery, and featured the heart shaped bowl, and fit both babies in nice and snug! Here, their neutral swaddles, with little toes sticking out, give all the feels! Then, we got them all snug in the potato sack pose, and put them in a wicker basket together. Fortunately, these babies were perfect! As a Long Grove twin newborn photographer, you just hope that you get some great shots of the babies together, as well as individual. And, I was so lucky that this baby boy and baby girl were perfect, and slept for their photo shoot! Next, we did also take some individual shots of each baby. But, we ended the photo session on the neutral colored blankets. And, I just love how baby sister is holding baby brother here! To finish, we snuggled them each together in one wrap, for a comfy, cozy look. Here, I just love how baby brother is holding baby sister, as if to say he will always be her protector!

His personality is really starting to shine through, and I loved seeing him again and capturing these special moments 🫶
What makes sessions like this even more special is when families continue to trust me with their memories year after year. I’ve photographed Cooper since he was a newborn and have also photographed his older brothers through the years. Despite living over an hour away, they continue to make the trip for their sessions, and I am so grateful for their support.
I look forward to capturing many more milestones for this wonderful family in the years ahead 🤍
These sweet images take me back to where my newborn photography journey began over 14 years ago.
When I first started, posed newborn photography was the style. Every image was carefully planned and thoughtfully created, requiring extensive training, hands-on workshops, and a deep understanding of newborn safety, comfort, and posing techniques. Creating those timeless curled-up poses wasn’t just about taking a photo, it was about learning an art form while always putting baby’s well-being first.
Over the years, newborn photography has evolved. Today, many families are drawn to a more natural, baby-led approach that focuses on genuine connection, movement, and simple moments. I absolutely love incorporating those elements into my sessions as well.
What makes my approach unique is that I continue to offer my signature posed newborn style while blending it with more natural, baby-led moments. This allows me to create a gallery filled with both beautifully crafted portraits and authentic images that reflect your baby’s personality.
While trends may change, there will always be something special about those classic newborn portraits—the ones that highlight just how tiny, precious, and brand new your little one is.
Which style do you love most: timeless posed portraits, natural baby-led moments, or a combination of both?
