World, meet gorgeous Selin! Recently, this precious newborn girl came and visited me as a Long Grove photographer, newborn, for a session recently. For this session, Mom and Dad liked light pink colors, as you will see in the photos. And, sweet baby girl was a pleasure to photograph!
First, we started with some props, including the heart shaped bowl. As you can see, Selin fit right in, and seems happy about it!
Next, we moved to the bowl pose, which is always a favorite. I think whenever you add in a mini-stuffed animal, like this cat, it makes for an even sweeter pose!
Then, we moved on to swaddle Selin a little more, and placed her in the mini crib. Now, I am loving all the pinks, that seem so soft and perfect with her hair and skin tones.
And, since she was so perfectly asleep, we were able to get some shots of just Selin on the soft, pink blanket. Also, I am in love with this little bow on her! Again, it’s one of the several headband choices at the studio that I have available!
As a Long Grove photographer newborn specialist, I really am so happy when we finish a session and I realize that it was a success! With Selin’s session, I couldn’t be happier. But, when you have a perfect subject like Selin, it makes my job so easy!

Sweet baby George was just 10 days new when he came to the studio, and oh my heart… he is absolutely perfect. I had the joy of not only photographing him, but also his proud big sister—just 22 months old and already so in love with her baby brother.
She posed so beautifully (still a baby herself!) and couldn’t stop showering him with love. These two are going to have the sweetest bond, I just know it.
It was such a gift to have this wonderful family back in the studio, capturing these tender, intimate first moments as they settle into life as a family of four.
Welcome to the world, baby George—you are so very loved.
The tiny toes, the soft curl of a finger, the delicate curve of an ear, the sweet profile—these are the details that change so quickly, yet mean so much.
Capturing the quiet beauty of these fleeting newborn moments is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Because someday, these little things will be the big things you’ll want to remember most.
