Recently, this handsome baby boy came to me for newborn photos. Fortunately, baby Louis’ mom googled “best newborn photographer in Chicago” and found me! Honestly, as a Lincolnshire newborn photographer, I am so honored, especially since they drove over an hour to get to my newborn studio.
To begin, we started with the bucket pose. And, I added some greenery to the yellow bucket for some color contrast.
Next, we went to the bean bag with a yellow blanket. Now, at every session, I sent a questionnaire. This way, every session is styled to each client’s color choices.
Then, we moved to the moon prop. Luckily, this little guy was just perfect at his session, and let me pose him how I wanted!
Now, as a Lincolnshire newborn photographer, I pride myself on having a wonderful assortment of props, swaddles, wraps, head bands, hats and colors to choose from. As you can see, in my blog, there are so many options that I have available!

Sweet baby Ava was 18 days new when she came in for her newborn session, and she was absolutely perfect in every way. Her mama found me on Instagram, and I’m so grateful she did.
It’s always such an honor to be trusted with capturing these first moments. Being one of the very first people a family introduces their baby to is something I never take for granted. Knowing these images will be cherished for years to come—that they’ll be part of a family’s story—is what makes this work so meaningful.
Sweet baby Finley was just 13 days new when I had the joy of meeting her for her very first photo shoot. She is already so deeply loved — welcomed by her three big sisters and her wonderful mom and dad.
What made this session extra special for me? A couple of years ago, I had the honor of photographing her twin sisters as newborns — and seeing this beautiful family again truly filled my heart. It means the world when families return and trust me to capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments. 🥹
Baby Finley, you were an absolute dream to photograph. Your session was filled with tenderness and so much love.
