Recently, I was able to meet and photograph this sweet guy! Fortunately, he is the youngest, and I have photographed all his siblings, too. Now, as a Lake Zurich photographer, the biggest compliment I can get is repeat clients!
To begin, we started with this wood basket. Now, I am loving all the greens in this photo, too, to compliment the wood.Then, we went with a neutral look on the white bean bag, with a comfy hat, too.Next, since this little peanut was small, he fit perfectly in the wood bowl prop I have. Here, I love his little feet peeking out in this swaddle.Now, I always love featuring babies on their backs in props, and on their tummies for some sleepy time poses, too. Before your session, I will send you tips to keep baby happy and sleeping during your newborn session.Here, since Mom and Dad love green, I also went with a tummy time pose in green.Of course, since little boy was so cooperative and sound asleep, I was able to get the swing in the photos, too! To finish, we had to get those adorable siblings I have known for years in a proud big sister photo! Now, as a Lake Zurich photographer, I usually start the deluxe newborn session with family and sibling shots. This way, if Dad wants to take the siblings to get a snack, or back to school, that would be great. Then, we focus on baby shots after. This sweet family found me through friends who had just done their newborn session with me, and after seeing their images, they fell in love with my work. They were really hoping to get on my schedule, but had one big concern… their baby was already a little older than the typical “newborn window,” and they weren’t sure if we’d still be able to achieve those soft, classic newborn poses.
I reassured them—and their little one proved us all right 💛 He was absolutely perfect… so calm, so cozy, and slept beautifully throughout the session. We were able to capture all those timeless, gently posed images they were dreaming of.
