Welcome, sweet baby Victoria. Since Covid19 shut down my studio during the time that Victoria was born, she came to see me at 10 weeks old! Typically, I photograph newborns under 3 weeks of age. But, the virus had a different idea. And, Victoria’s parents still wanted those precious memories of her as a baby. So, we set up a time, as soon as my newborn studio opened back up, and took Victoria’s photos! Recently, I was honored to be named Evanston’s top maternity photographer by Expertise , and I also offer services as an Evanston newborn photographer, and surrounding Chicagoland areas.

My goodness, she is a doll! Victoria was wide awake, with big smiles, for part of her photo shoot! I love the colors that Mom chose for this session! And, that adorable crown that’s available for any of my newborn sessions looks great on her!
Here, we went with some soft cream tones, as Mom and Dad requested these neutral colors during the session. Every newborn session is customized to fit each family’s needs.
Here, keeping with the neutral tones, Victoria takes a little nap, in this adorable baby crib that she almost didn’t fit in! Most props are designed for tiny newborn babies. But, we were lucky, and she fit just perfectly!
For this pose, we went with a little more colorful newborn crown, in that tiny newborn crib prop. I love how this photo turned out!
Oh, sweet Victoria. This photo is just too precious! All the blankets, wraps, headbands, props, including the mini stuffed animals, can be used at any newborn shoot in my studio.
Now, I am not sure if I love this pose more, because of the wrap. Or, maybe it’s the rainbow pillows. Or perhaps, her tiny feet sticking out!

This sweet family found me through friends who had just done their newborn session with me, and after seeing their images, they fell in love with my work. They were really hoping to get on my schedule, but had one big concern… their baby was already a little older than the typical “newborn window,” and they weren’t sure if we’d still be able to achieve those soft, classic newborn poses.
I reassured them—and their little one proved us all right 💛 He was absolutely perfect… so calm, so cozy, and slept beautifully throughout the session. We were able to capture all those timeless, gently posed images they were dreaming of.
