Please, help me welcome sweet Nysa. Recently, this baby girl came to my Long Grove newborn studio, with her big sister and parents, for a newborn session. As you know, Chicagoland newborn photography is something I am so passionate about, and am so fortunate to have such amazing clients!
Of course, sisters make amazing friends! Here, sweet baby girl and her big sister make for a great photo! As I specialize in Chicagoland newborn photography, I always love when a sibling is so happy and eager to participate in a photo shoot, like Nysa’s big sister.
Now, since sweet Nysa was sound asleep, we were able to get her in the bucket, for some great, sleepy poses! Lately, I have been into the mint color, and adding some purple for a contrast!
Now, sometimes we get lucky with newborn smiles. Here, I just love her sweet expression, in a wood box and basket with some flowers!
And, since she stayed asleep, we were able to change up the colors, and get some deeper greens in a fuzzy swaddle.
In conclusion, Nysa stayed asleep and happy to finish her photo shoot!

Wow! Someone just snagged my very last October spot for a full sunset family session — and with that, October is officially FULLY BOOKED for full outdoor sessions!
I’m honestly blown away by all of you. Your support means the world to me, and I’m so grateful for every single family who trusts me to capture these precious moments. For many of you, I’ve had the honor of seeing your families year after year — watching your little ones grow makes each session even more special. And this year, I’m also excited to welcome a few new families into the fold!
Looking ahead, I have just a couple of openings left in September for full or simple sessions, and a handful of summer dates still available. These are perfect for maternity, senior, milestone, or family sessions — so if it’s been on your heart to book, now’s the time!
And so this post doesn’t get lost in the scroll, I’m including a favorite from last year’s September session with my beautiful photographer bestie (who I adore so much!) and her sweet family.
Let’s make some magic together — I can’t wait to see who I get to capture next!
We had so much fun during baby Rory’s one-year session — so many smiles and giggles! She was absolutely beautiful and full of personality, and I loved capturing these sweet moments for her. What made it even more special is that I photographed her big sister at this same age two years ago! Big sister joined in for a few photos too, now at three years old 🫶
Meet baby Nico, just 13 days new and already completely stole my heart the second I met him.
I absolutely adore his family—getting to photograph his big sister as a newborn and throughout her first year was such a joy, and now I get to do the same for sweet Nico.
It’s the biggest honor when families trust me to capture these fleeting moments and return year after year. Watching your little ones grow is one of the most special parts of what I do, and I can’t wait to document Nico’s first year.
Welcome to the world, little guy—you are so loved already 🥰
