Today, I am featuring sweet, beautiful Ariya! Again, another perfect newborn..and I don’t say those words lightly. I have had my share of newborns that just weren’t interested in their session. It truthfully doesn’t happen that often, but sometimes you get that colicky newborn, and there’s nothing that can be done! But, Ariya was absolutely a dream to work with!

Gorgeous, baby girl Ariya, you are so beautiful! I love this headband with the soft green tones, and the burlap under the bucket. I love all the textures and softness here.Now, offering Chicagoland newborn photography, one thing I love that I offer is high quality newborn props. I have such a variety, that no two newborn sessions will ever look exactly the same!Absolutely obsessed with how perfect this blanket Ariya’s Mom brought from home fits perfectly in the bucket! We didn’t plan on this, and it couldn’t have worked out any better! Oh, my heart! Could she be any cuter?! This is my favorite image of the session! Since Ariya was perfect, I was able to transition her easily from props, to the bean bag for some simple poses. Here, she looks like she could sleep for hours, in her perfect pose. I love the whites with her skin and hair tones, too.I have mentioned before, that the froggy pose is the toughest pose to get. Now, since Ariya was an angel baby, this pose was easy!And, Ariya brought her adorable family with her for her newborn photography session. Here, her big sisters are all smiles, so proud of their baby sister.

This sweet family found me through friends who had just done their newborn session with me, and after seeing their images, they fell in love with my work. They were really hoping to get on my schedule, but had one big concern… their baby was already a little older than the typical “newborn window,” and they weren’t sure if we’d still be able to achieve those soft, classic newborn poses.
I reassured them—and their little one proved us all right 💛 He was absolutely perfect… so calm, so cozy, and slept beautifully throughout the session. We were able to capture all those timeless, gently posed images they were dreaming of.
They chose my Classic Collection with pops of beautiful color, and I just loved every bit of it. This style is very reminiscent of traditional newborn photography—soft, intentional posing paired with delicate, rich tones that truly highlight baby in the most timeless way. It’s always such a joy when families choose this look.
