Oh, sweet birthday girl Idalia, met me outdoors recently for a photo shoot. I am so glad her Mommy and Daddy hired me as a Chicagoland first birthday photographer, to capture these moments. Now, I know you will enjoy these adorable photos as much as I do!
First, we started with sweet one year old standing with the help of this vintage chair. And, this outfit is a studio outfit, for any milestone session to use!
Next, we let baby Idalia feel like a big girl in my boho rattan chair, at sunset!
Here, Idalia is in another studio outfit, floral crown, and standing with the help of my cute ladder. Now, I am also loving the sunset on this gorgeous outdoor first birthday photo session. As a first birthday photographer Chicagoland, I just love that this session was outside. Of course, indoor studio sessions are adorable, too. But, this was a different feel of the shoot, and the weather was absolutely perfect, too!
And, we got so lucky on this gorgeous summer night that the flowers were in full bloom, and the sun cooperated! Looks like the birthday girl is just as happy!
Seriously, could she be any more adorable? Here, she’s rocking another outfit from the studio, which looks like it was custom made for her! Honestly, I am so happy that Mom and Dad chose an outdoor session for this first birthday photo shoot!
To finish, we capture the final moments of the sunset, and wished sweet Idalia a happy birthday!

Meet baby Jamison — 14 days new and already stealing hearts 💙
He was absolutely perfect for his session and melted right into every pose. What made this session even more special is that just a few weeks ago, I photographed his baby cousin as a newborn too.
These two little boys are going to grow up so close in age, and I can already imagine all the fun (and mischief!) they’ll have together. What a gift it is to capture these beginnings for families who will be making memories side by side.
Welcome to the world, Jamison. You are so very loved. 🤍
I’m so excited to share a peek into a recent newborn session with baby Jackson, who was one month old when I had the joy of photographing him. 💙
This sweet family visited my Long Grove studio after Jackson’s mama found me on Instagram. She shared how much she loved the soft and simple look of the images in my portfolio. She was hoping to capture her family and their new little love in that same sweet and timeless way—and I think we did just that.
Baby Jackson is their little miracle, and every moment of this session felt full of love and gratitude. From the quiet snuggles to the tender glances between mom, dad, and baby—it was such a joy to capture these fleeting early days.
Sessions like these are exactly why I do what I do.
Welcome to the world, sweet Jackson. You are so loved. 🤍
Sweet baby Rayna came into the studio recently, and I’m still smiling thinking about her session.
This beautiful family was referred to me by one of my amazing clients (which always means the world to me—thank you!). There’s something so special about families putting their trust in me and then sharing that experience with their friends.
The session itself was truly heart-melting. Watching big brother love on his brand-new baby sister was everything—he even gave me the biggest smile while cuddling her, and I swear my heart just about burst.
These are the moments I live for. The quiet love, the little smiles, and the joy of capturing families as they grow.
Welcome to the world, sweet Rayna. You are so loved already.
