I’m very excited to share the photos from baby Nikolina’s session with all of you! As a Chicago newborn photographer, I know every family is different and that one style does not fit all. I am always expanding my photography collections to suit different tastes and preferences. 10-day-new Nikolina’s baby pictures are an example of a new type of session I’ve started offering recently: my Pure Newborn collection.
Pure Newborn Collection Style
My pure newborn collection style is different from my other newborn offerings (classic, deluxe, and lifestyle). It truly depends on you and your style as to which one is right for you. Here, I’ll outline a few of the differences.
Classic and Deluxe collections come with a wide range of color and prop options. They are perfect if you have a unique vision in mind or love something a little different. They often include bolder colors and more whimsy, as well as lots of props.
Lifestyle Newborn collections take place in your home. These are perfect if you want to capture your home and baby’s nursery. They can also be a favorite if baby has older siblings and you don’t want to bother getting everyone ready for the studio.
With my Pure Newborn collections, I use a neutral color palette and a smaller selection of simple, timeless props. I also rely more heavily on natural light to give that beautiful glow to your newborn photos. It’s like a reflection of your sweet baby’s purity.
Just like with my other newborn collections, parents and siblings are welcome to be part of the pure newborn session. It was delightful to have Nikolina’s big brother join us in the studio, especially because I photographed him as a newborn too!
