I can’t believe this year is coming to a close already. It has been filled with so many lovely sessions, one of which was this sweet Chicago newborn lifestyle session for little Kiaan and his parents.
I am so honored to have been voted one of Chicago’s best newborn photographers for several years and always feel so privileged to capture the memories of this special season of life. As my studio has grown I’ve continued to look for ways I can provide an even better experience for moms, babies, and families.
Chicago Newborn Studio with Client Closet
One of the ways I’ve found that is most helpful is to provide a wide variety of clothing choices for both mom and baby right here at the studio, to save busy new parents the trouble of trying to find photo-worthy outfits. With baby’s Kiaan’s session, everything for baby was provided by me, as well as mom’s dress to make the session completely stress free.
Lifestyle Studio Session
We also decided on the warm and cozy vibe of a Chicago newborn lifestyle collection. I offer several different collections so that everyone can find something they love. With this lifestyle session, I set up my studio with plenty of comfy pillows and throws, plus a few decorative props to make it feel even more like a boho bedroom.
I always do some formal posed portraits, but I also love to capture candid, natural moments like dad snuggling with the little one or mom rocking baby to sleep. After all, lifestyle is about more than just the décor. It’s also about creating a beautiful, home-like feeling throughout your images.
Kiaan and his parents were such a delight to have in the studio. I’m so grateful for the friend who referred them and that when they explored my style on Instagram they loved it instantly! Welcome to the world, sweet Kiaan!
