Recently, this adorable little one came to the studio for a Chicago newborn photo shoot.Fortunately, he was so fun to work with, and made for an adorable newborn photo session.

To begin, we started with the family portion of the photo shoot. This way, when siblings are involved, we can get those photos taken. Now, since my sessions last about 2-3 hours for a newborn, I sometimes recommend the siblings leaving after their portion is photographed. That way, the siblings aren’t losing interest, and we can just focus quietly and calmly on the newborn.
Then, we moved on to baby alone posed photos. Now, as a Chicago newborn photographer, all the props you see here are available for any studio newborn photo shoot. And, fortunately I am always adding more items to my extensive collection. This way, no two newborn photo sessions will ever look exactly the same.
How to prepare for your Chicago newborn session
Also, before your session, I will send an email questionnaire. So, this helps me prepare for your session, and plan colors and ideas that you prefer. And, we will discuss tips on how to come prepared for the session, to have the sleepiest baby for the perfect photos.
Now, I also have other newborn collections to choose from when booking. Here, this family chose the collection that includes sibling and family photos. Also, many times people ask how the booking process works. Just so you know, newborn sessions are scheduled within 14 days of birth and take place within my cozy studio located in Long Grove. Also, when you book your session, I will put your due date on my calendar. Then, if baby arrives earlier or later than the anticipated due date, there is always room to accommodate. Next, once baby is born, I ask that you let me know as soon as possible so that we can plan a definitive date and time for the session.
