I have only recently started offering Chicago lifestyle newborn photos at my studio in Long Grove, but they are already so popular! I love it when I develop a new type of portrait session and clients immediately begin booking it. It tells me that I am doing my job right and delivering the kind of baby pictures that really fit with the needs and styles of my families.
This lifestyle newborn session with baby Emma was last-minute, so I’m really glad it worked out with my schedule! Moms are often so busy with baby that they don’t have the time or energy to schedule a session once the little one has arrived. This is one reason I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant. In this case though, Dad came to the rescue, and I happened to have a spot open, so it all worked out!
Lifestyle Newborn Photos in the Studio
Chicago lifestyle newborn photos are all about the love that your family shares. I include a couple of baby-only poses and setups, but most of the time is dedicated to capturing the precious moments that happen naturally as you cuddle and love on your new baby.
I do offer a variety of different background options for my lifestyle studio setup, so you can choose one that feels beautiful, comfortable and home-like to you. For baby Emma’s session, we opted for some blankets and pillows that gave us a cozy bedroom feel, and also included elements like a wicker chair and potted plants to create the look this family wanted. I think you’ll agree that the results were perfect!
