Fortunately, I have seen a huge baby boom lately! And, I just adore all my newborns and their beautiful families. Recently, sweet baby Deacon came to the studio, as him mom found me as a Chicago area newborn photographer, to take his newborn photos! Here, you will see his adorable session, which includes some photos inspired by his superhero themed nursery at home! Here is a warning, adorable overload ahead!
I hope you enjoy looking through this newborn photo shoot
Of course, we start off with some adorable photos of the 3 siblings together. I love the black and white image option here, as it’s such a classic and perfect picture of the proud big sister and big brother. Now, when my clients receive digital images, they do get to see and have all their images in color, and black and white. That way, it’s their choice how they want to display or print their photos. As a Chicago area newborn photographer, I have a LOT of props to choose from. Before my clients arrive, I ask them to let me know specific colors they like, and colors they don’t like. Strangely, these colors always seem to be the perfect color that Mom and Dad choose, before the shoot! I say it all the time, but I love how these blues compliment Deacon’s hair and skin tones here!Oh, sweet boy-you are loved to the moon and back! I can see it from all your family at the newborn session. So, we had to have some photos in the moon basket! I see some toes peeking out! Here, Mom and Dad brought along some superhero stuffed animals from Deacon’s nursery. I love this cute theme for a boy’s nursery! Here, I love the classic look of this backdrop, on the soft, white flokati, along with the cutest big brother and big sister ever! It makes things so easy when big sister and big brother cooperate and help at the newborn photo shoot! As you have seen, I love my little “stuffies.” Here, this adorable elephant looks so safe and cozy in sweet Deacon’s tiny hand. And, since Deacon was a perfect little boy, and sound asleep, I was able to pose him just how I wanted here! I adore his tiny left hand holding up his cheek! Now, I know Mom and Dad will just love this photo-all their superheroes!! What an adorable family! To finish, sweet dreams, sweet Deacon! Looks like he wants to stay in the studio for a while to finish his peaceful nap!

Sweet baby Beckham was just 18 days new when I met him, and he completely stole my heart.
Mom found me through a last-minute Google search for a newborn photographer in her area, and luckily I had a small opening in my busy schedule to squeeze them in. I’m so happy I did — Beckham was absolutely perfect, and we had such a beautiful session.
Mom chose my Deluxe Collection, which allowed us extra time and variety. We incorporated some richer, darker tones that beautifully complimented Beckham’s complexion and brought such warmth and depth to the images.
It’s always an honor to be trusted with capturing these early memories — what a special little guy.
I’ve been photographing them since sweet Navy was a newborn, and they’ve been with me every year since. Watching her grow and capturing their love year after year has been such a joy.
Our recent outdoor sunset session was nothing short of magical, Navy’s gorgeous smile lit up every frame 🥰
I always look forward to our time together, and I’m so grateful to be part of their journey.
She was just three weeks old, tiny and perfect, and posed like a dream for me. Mom found me on Instagram and reached out last minute, and luckily, I had just the spot to squeeze them in. I’m so glad I did, because this session turned out to be such a favorite!
As we were chatting during the session, we realized we have a mutual connection, one of my clients (and soon-to-be newborn mama again!) is a friend of theirs. I love how these beautiful connections keep bringing the loveliest families to my studio 🤍
