It has been so very busy at the studio lately! Between motherhood sessions, sweet newborns, and beautiful families, my spring season has been incredibly busy. Which is exactly how I like it!
Today though, it’s time to take a quick break from shooting and editing to share some of my favorite photos from one of last year’s newborn photoshoots.
Baby Caroline was 13 days new when she and her family traveled to my Long Grove studio from their home in Chicago. It was so wonderful to meet her and to spend time with this lovely family.
Sweet Sisters
Every newborn session is special, but this one stole my heart! It really was so precious photographing baby girl Caroline and her almost-two-year-old big sister Annemarie. Watching the bond between these two was the sweetest thing. Big sister was absolutely amazing, so loving and gentle with her new baby sister. They were so cute together and I have a feeling they are going to be best friends!
Capturing the Beauty of Your Life
Capturing these tender moments between siblings reminds me just how beautiful each season of life is. Whether you are getting ready to welcome your first baby, in the middle of raising little ones, or wondering where the time has gone as you watch your children stretch their wings, every stage of life is precious. And every single one goes by so fast! That’s why I believe it’s important to set aside some time and resources to capture those memories on a regular basis. Believe me, you will be so glad you did!
