This little one came to see me last year and she was such a sweetheart! Mom and Dad live in South Elgin and found my Long Grove studio during a search on Google for newborn photographers in the Chicago area. Chicago is a big city with lots of suburbs, so there are a lot of photographers to choose from. Even though my studio wasn’t the closest place to get newborn pictures, they loved my style and knew that my classic newborn collection was exactly what they were looking for! I’m so happy they found me!
Baby Amelia’s Session
Baby Amelia was just ten days old when we did her session and she was amazing! We chose some deep, gorgeous greens and lighter shades of cream. It was the perfect combination with the rustic browns I love to use as a background in my classic sessions.
Another thing I love to play with in my photos is texture. It just adds such a beautiful element to images. For Amelia’s baby pictures we used several different outfits, swaddles, and props to create those layers of textures. We also incorporated lots of flowers to highlight this sweet girl’s beauty. She is the prettiest blossom for sure!
