This was my last session of 2024—and what a way to end the year on a high note! These adorable twin boys brought double the sweetness to my photography studio and we had such a wonderful time creating these twin baby pictures.
Mom, who lives in Beach Park, Illinois, first found me back in 2021 when she was expecting her first baby. I had the pleasure of documenting her pregnancy with a maternity session and meeting her baby boy as a newborn. So when she got in touch to tell me she was expecting again and would love another maternity session and newborn session—this time for twins!—I was thrilled.
It was a joy to meet little Ares and Jace. Usually I encourage parents to bring their newborns in within the first 2-3 weeks, but these guys decided to arrive a month early and had to spend a few weeks in the NICU. It wasn’t until they were a little over 6 weeks old that they were finally home—happy and healthy—and ready to rock their photoshoot!
Unexpected events like this is one of the reasons I encourage families to book early. I’m not always able to accommodate last-minute bookings (although I’m happy to work those in if I have the space), but if your session is already on my calendar, we can always make adjustments as needed. I’ve learned that babies rarely come exactly when you expect them!
Jace and Ares did such a great job throughout their photoshoot. And let’s not forget their amazing big brother, who was so proud and loving toward his baby brothers. It was so sweet to watch them together, and truly the perfect way to wrap up the year. What a special session filled with cuddles, connection, and so much love!
