As a photographer featuring Chicagoland newborn photography, I am always so honored when clients ask me to capture these moments and memories for them! Here, you will meet handsome baby Pierson! Now, he was just a perfect little baby boy at his newborn session!
First, we started with one of the favorite and more requested newborn poses, the baby in the bucket! Now, since perfect baby boy was sound asleep, it was easy to pose him here. And, I love the blue with the deep red tone, too!Next, we stayed with the same colors, but moved baby into a bowl for a different pose. Here, I love those toes peeking out from the newborn wrap, too! Then, we stayed with the blue tones, since that’s what Mom and Dad requested before their session. As a photographer specializing in Chicagoland newborn photography, I gear all my sessions toward the parents and their color choices. Now, I have several hats, wraps, headbands, baskets, bowls, and blankets to choose from at my studio. But, I ask ahead of time to each family what color choices they prefer, and if there is anything specific they wanted at their session. And, I remind them that each newborn photographer has their own style, but I do have them choose their color choices.Next, since baby boy was so sound asleep and easy to work with, I was able to pose him in another extremely popular newborn pose, the froggy pose!To finish, we wrapped baby boy in all blue, with a comfy winter blue hat, to end his newborn session!

This beautiful studio maternity session was extra special for so many reasons 🤍
Not only was it a quiet, intimate moment celebrating the anticipation of their sweet baby, but it was also my final session of 2026 — a meaningful way to close out a year filled with so much love and trust.
They traveled all the way from Iowa, found me through Google, and chose my studio because they connected with my work. That never stops feeling humbling. When families are willing to travel for the experience and artistry you create, it’s truly special.
Thank you for trusting me with this season of your lives 🫶
Baby Amay was 13 days old and absolutely perfect in every way. The most beautiful way to close out what turned out to be one of my busiest newborn years yet.
As I reflect on this past year, my heart is so full. Thank you to every family who trusted me with their brand-new babies. Thank you for inviting me into such a tender, fleeting season and allowing me to preserve these moments for you—moments that pass far too quickly.
I’m beyond grateful for the continued trust, the returning families, and all the new faces I’ve met along the way. Capturing these first days will always be an honor I never take for granted.
I’m already looking ahead to 2026, and January is shaping up to be a very baby-filled month once again 🤍 Newborn bookings are now open through June.
I’ll be restructuring and updating my newborn collections for the new year, so if you’d like to secure a session at 2025 pricing, be sure to reach out soon.
Here’s to more tiny toes, sleepy snuggles, and beautiful beginnings in the year ahead 🫶
Baby Lachlan was just 7 days new, and absolute perfection.
Thank you for trusting me once again to document such a meaningful chapter. These are the days that pass too quickly, and I’m so grateful to help preserve them forever. 🤍
If you’re expecting in 2026, now is the perfect time to reserve your newborn session, my calendar fills quickly, especially with returning families.
