We finally had a little baby boy in the studio recently. Lately, we have had a baby boom of girls. Today, we met sweet Kaveer for a precious baby boy newborn photo shoot. Luckily, Kaveer was a sleepy baby boy, and did great for his newborn photo session. As a newborn photographer in Lake County, IL, I love seeing these adorable babies, and the joy their families bring for a newborn photo shoot!
In love with this little pumpkin hat, perfect for a fall baby!
Here, we featured the moon bucket, with some yellows to go along with the yellow stars. I love how this turned out!
And, we moved on to the heart shaped bowl, with the green tones. Plus, we added another touch of yellow with the heart stuffy.
Newborn Photographer Lake County IL Now, sleepy Kaveer was so comfortable and sound asleep, we were able to get this super relaxed pose. Mom and Dad liked the green and yellow tones, and I really am happy with how well these colors went along with this session.
To finish, we had to include a black and white image. As always, the images from Kaveer’s session will be given to his parents in color, as well as black and white. This way, it’s each family’s decision how they want to present their photos from their session.

I’m Agata, the face behind the camera. Truthfully, I’m much more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it, but I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about myself.
I’ve been a photographer for the past 13 years, specializing in newborns, maternity, and families. Over the last few years, I’ve shifted my focus more toward newborn and baby sessions, scaling back on outdoor family sessions to spend more time in my cozy Long Grove studio. It’s truly my happy place, filled with soft wraps, beautiful props, and sweet outfits to make every session special and styled just right.
Photography is such a powerful way to freeze a moment in time, and I’m so honored to be the one capturing those first days, tender connections, and growing families.
I truly love what I do. Being able to freeze time and create memories for families is something I cherish deeply. I’m a quiet soul who tends to keep to myself, but I care deeply about the people I work with and always strive to make every experience warm, thoughtful, and beautiful.
Family means the world to me. I just celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary with my husband, Mark. We have two amazing kids: our daughter is about to start college at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide! 🐘), and our son is entering his junior year of high school. He plays hockey for his school team, so weekends are usually spent at the rink cheering him on with our awesome hockey family. 🏒 We also have three little Shih Tzus who keep life fun and chaotic in the best way.
Whether you’ve been following along for years or you’re new here, thank you for being part of this space. I’m so grateful for every family who trusts me with their memories. 💛
And of course, I can’t forget about my wonderful friend Christine who took these photos for us. I love each and every one of them and will truly cherish them forever. Thank you for capturing us. 🤍
Still smiling thinking about this sweet session with baby Levi
It was such a joy to see this wonderful family again—I photographed big brother as a newborn almost two years ago, and now they’re back with their newest little love.
Levi was absolutely perfect, and getting to capture this next chapter for a returning family truly means so much. Watching these little ones grow and being trusted to document their milestones is the greatest honor.
Sweet Bennett came back to see me for his 9-month session, and what a joy it was! This age is one of my absolute favorite milestones to capture—babies are full of smiles, sitting up confidently, and just radiating pure happiness.
It feels so special to have photographed Bennett since before he was born—from his parents’ maternity session to his newborn portraits, and now this beautiful stage. Watching these little ones grow and being trusted to document their journey is truly the heart of what I do. 💛
If you’re thinking of capturing this milestone for your little one, 9 months is the perfect time!
